Frequently Asked Questions
If you find yourself in a situation where no one is available at the ticket counter, please refer to our Airport Information page to check the hours of operation for the ticket counter and baggage service office. Select the city you are currently in to obtain more information. If a representative is not present, you can use one of the available kiosks to check in and get your boarding pass.
If you do not check-in for your flight, the airline may cancel your reservation. This is because airlines typically require passengers to web checkin or check in before the scheduled departure time to secure their seats on the flight. Additionally, failure to check in may result in a no-show fee or the forfeiture of your ticket. It's crucial to ensure you check in for your flight, whether online, at a kiosk, or at the ticket counter, to avoid any potential issues.
To resolve this issue, it's essential to ensure that all documents match the information on your reservation in the Manage Trips/Update Travelers Details section. This step can help identify and rectify errors preventing the individual from checking in. If the problem persists, you can visit the airport ticket counter and request assistance from a Crewmember to check-in. They can help resolve any issues and ensure everyone in your party is checked in and ready to board the flight.
When making your flight reservation, it's essential to include a Special Service Request (SSR) to request a wheelchair. You can do this by selecting the "I require wheelchair assistance" option under the Additional Information section at the bottom of the Traveler Details page. If you need assistance adding an SSR, contact JetBlue Airlines for help by visiting their website or calling their customer service number.
If you need to make a change to your flight plans after checking in, you can "uncheck in" to unlock your reservation and make changes yourself. To uncheck, go to the JetBlue homepage and select Check In. Enter your name and confirmation code or ticket number, select Find Flights, and click the Travelers to be Unchecked option. Follow the prompts to cancel check-in and complete the process. Once you have successfully unchecked yourself, you can use the Manage Trips tool to rebook or make changes to your itinerary. Please note that if you need help to uncheck yourself, you can seek assistance by contacting our customer care representative. It's also important to remember that you cannot uncheck yourself within 30 minutes of your scheduled departure time.
If you cannot JetBlue check-in due to an incorrect date of birth in your reservation, you can contact a JetBlue Crewmember via chat or phone to make minor corrections to your date of birth. However, it's important to note that full changes of the birthdate are not permitted, and you may need to cancel your reservation and rebook if the correction required is substantial.
If you encounter difficulties when attempting to Jetblue Flight check-in through the JetBlue app, you can attempt to check in via a web browser using the Manage Trips option. If this doesn't work, you can JetBlue Airflight web checkin by either using a kiosk or visiting a ticket counter at your Airport.
If you receive an airport restriction message while trying JetBlue web checkin, you can still check in manually by going to the Airport and having your documents verified by an airport crewmember at the ticket counter. It's important to check your flight time as well, as it may be too late to check in online or to check bags. You can use the airport kiosk or ticket counter to check in if that is the case.
